GALLERY NOTES:

Alan Wylie was born in Scotland and trained at the Glasgow School of Art, where he graduated with a degree in Mural Design and Mosaics. He emigrated to Nova Scotia in 1967, where he began a career as a full-time artist and teacher, and moved to British Columbia in 1974. He was President of the Federation of Canadian Artists for 1986/87 and currently resides in the historic town of Fort Langley, outside of metro Vancouver.
